Offbeat Engagement Shoot at Cotton Belt Freight Depot
It was the day before Valentine’s Day. Love was in the air (freezing cold air, I should add). We did this offbeat engagement shoot with Tenethia and Brandon in downtown St. Louis, first inside the Christ Church Cathedral and then at the famed Cotton Belt Freight Depot. It was something different than what I would normally do, but I really dug it!
Tenethia and Brandon are both God-fearing people. They met at their church and they said yes at that same church! So the gorgeous Christ Church Cathedral in downtown St. Louis is a perfect location for their engagement shoot. I think these two love birds were mesmerized by in this gorgeous cathedral. (Or were they lost in it? Can you spot them? LOL.)
Our next stop was the legendary Cotton Belt Freight Depot, a must-stop for adventure-seekers. This place is filled with graffiti and has been the usual location of Artica, an annual grassroots outdoor and multidisciplinary arts festival, since 2002. Our couple wanted something different. Because Brandon is a private contractor doing home remodeling all over the St. Louis area, they decided to go with a construction theme.
The main reason was, of course, it would be A LOT OF FUN! See it for yourself.
I absolutely love this offbeat couple and the love they have for each other. Can’t wait to photograph their wedding in September!
